Welcome to Panchika, operated by Happyloop Inc. ("Happyloop", "we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Panchika app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Description of Service

Panchika provides Telugu panchangam (calendar) information including tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, sunrise/sunset times, a muhurtham finder, and festival information, based on astronomical calculations. Panchika is free to use and supported by advertising.

2. Cultural & Informational Purpose Only

Panchika is provided for cultural and informational purposes. It is not a substitute for professional astrological, religious, medical, legal, or financial advice. Decisions about ceremonies, muhurthams, or significant life events should be made in consultation with a qualified priest, astrologer, or elder as you see fit.

3. Accuracy of Calculations

Panchangam data is generated using Swiss Ephemeris astronomical calculations with the Lahiri ayanamsa, targeting accuracy within a couple of minutes of traditional references such as Drik Panchang. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all calculations, festival dates, or muhurthams are error-free, and we are not liable for outcomes resulting from reliance on this data.

4. Advertising

Panchika displays advertisements served through Google AdMob to keep the app free. By using the app, you agree to the display of such ads. See our Privacy Policy for details on advertising data collection and your choices.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code or bundled data for resale
Interfere with the app's advertising, e.g. through ad-blocking or click fraud
Use the app for any unlawful purpose

6. Intellectual Property

The Panchika app, its design, branding, and bundled panchangam data are the property of Happyloop Inc. or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. No Warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Happyloop Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

9. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update the app, its features, or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or discontinue the app at any time. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
